I hope you noticed the pretty spring pattern picture on my blog.  I will tell you a secret...it was created with a scanner.  


All you need to do is find a pretty print on fabric, paper  or anything that will fit under your scanner and press scan;  it could not be simpler.  


If the item you want is too large or cumbersome, just use your digital camera or camera-phone and click away. 


Once downloaded into any simple photo software program, you can crop, antique, b/w, special effects and print your new treasured patterns to make Cards, Lamp Shades, Specialty Papers for small gifts,  Paper Tiles,  Posters, etc.  The possibilities are literally endless.
